The Mosses

The Mosses Centre is a large Community Centre situated in the middle of Bury, next to the famous Bury Market.  It provides a meeting place for over forty clubs and groups and has an Ofsted Outstanding Pre-School.   The Mosses Centre is managed by the  Mosses Community Association Ltd (a Registered Charity).

Bank Holidays - we will be closed on Monday 4th June & Tuesday 5th June.   

The Mosses Association provides an important cornerstone for the community of Bury by running and managing the vibrant and active Mosses Centre. Developing and operating community education and social welfare activities and programmes; working in partnership with other statutory, voluntary and community groups; and providing facilities for local groups and societies.

We have rooms for hire including our large Main Hall with a bar and dance floor for weddings, parties, quiz nights and large gatherings and our Gym is suitable for sports and exercise classes or even childrens' birthday parties. We also have smaller rooms for meeting or training purposes. 

Food and Drink.     We have a cafe with a varied menu serving home made lunches, jacket potatoes, salads and sandwiches. Main mails only £2.50 from noon to 1pm. New Menu.

 For events we can provide a range of buffets or hot meals and are known for our excellent pie and pea suppers!
